Getting to know Manzanillo

Mainly made up of golden beaches with a length of more than 100 kilometers along the Pacific Coast, this zone is of greater importance to the State due to its vast economic and tourist activity that can be observed on a daily basis in its municipalities: Armeria, Tecomán and world wide recognized Port of Manzanillo

Manzanillo is one of the most outstanding tourist destinations in western Mexico, it has an outstanding hotel infrastructure and amazing golf courses, restaurants and other recreational places . This has allowed Manzanillo to receive a yearly growth of foreign and national tourists

It was the point of departure of a number of maritime expeditions through the Pacific Ocean as well as the arrival of The NAO of China which originated from Philippines with its valuable cargo of oriental products. Manzanillo was the third port created on the Pacific Coast by the Spaniards. It is known as The Worlds Capital of the Sail Fish, because in 1957, 336 species were captured within its waters. Since then it has been a place of interest to all the fishing lovers’ dues to its vast variety of species, like the Sail Fish and the Marlin for this reason since 1954 it has been the host of the International Dorsey Tournament.
