The so called Colima South Coast receives its visitors in its open sea beaches, with its impressive swell, its spectacular sceneries and the exquisite gastronomy, we are sure that you will get a very good impression and leave with a good taste in your mouth.
When you get to the Municipality of Manzanillo, take the Leona Vicario road and follow the signs which take you to Playa Ventanas (Ventanas Beach).
Destination is considered the most traditional beach in the state since early last century, was the major tourist destination due to the large concentration of visitors it received and its infrastructure in hotels, restaurants and terraces in which calls were conducted most memorable dances and parties by our grandparents and parents and who was also a destination for local tourism appeal. At the edge of the beach, has a renewed and beautiful boardwalk that beautifies the morning and evening walks for those staying in any of the hotels that are located there.

In the community of Cuyutlán you will find the Salt Museum.

Here, you can also take a tour to the Palo Verde estuary where hundreds of local and migrant birds fill the place and beautify the natural landscape framed by mangrove islands.

Grey sand Beach, moderate swell which allows the healthy enjoyment of the families that gather here. It offers a great variety of exquisite food based on fish and seafood.
How to get there: You will find Playa el Paraíso on the Cuyutlan Coastal Road.

Due to its heavy swell this Beach is visited by surf lovers and it is considered an appropriate destination for this market. Its ramadas (sea food restaurants located mostly in front of the beach, made of palm tree roofs), are waiting for you to enjoy the coast’s gastronomy: the best fish and seafood based dishes while admiring the sunset.
How to get there: On the Tecomán Coast Road, we will find signs that will indicate the way to Boca de Pascuales Beach.


The main characteristic of this place is that most of its “ramadas” (seafood restaurants on the beach) have pools and colorful slides of different shapes and sizes, which are the main attraction for children and young people. It’s a good place to swim in the pool, since the Beach is located in open sea, you can’t often enjoy swimming in the ocean.
The food is the most recognized and recently opened a hotel, the first and only in this area awaits its visitors to enjoy this destination. In addition, we recommend visiting the boardwalk The Real - Boca Pascuales where admire the best sunset, walk and enjoy a peaceful afternoon by the sea.

This is a much visited place, since there is an estuary, good place for the children to swim and enjoy. The ramadas and restaurants are waiting for you with the best gastronomy of the place.
