The transformation that Manzanillo´s historical center has had in the last seven years is outstanding and motivating. With a renewed urban image, based on the architectural style of Hotel Las Hadas, created by Architect Jose Luis Ezquerra de la Colina. He also worked in the remodeling project of the area, in which we find: The new Public Parking lot, the Dancing Waters Fountain, the new Tourist Pier and the Sculptural Walk.

It was built for cruise tourists and also to have a wonderful scenery when having those giant floating hotels docked in the middle of the city center.

Every night there is a spectacle of water, music and sound for the amusement of locals and tourists.

You can tour around downtown by foot. It begins in the Vigía hill with a beautiful view of Manzanillo´s Bay: You will find sculptures such as: The Lookout, The Marine, The stevedore, Snoopy, the dog, The Star Catcher, The Merchant Marine and the Fisherman.
